About the role
- The Acute Neuroscience Trauma unit is the primary unit for neurology and neurosurgery patients-acute and progressive care.
- The patient population we service consists of brain and spinal cord injuries, strokes, seizures, and a variety of movement disorders.
- Experienced RNs are encouraged to apply to this fast-paced, high acuity unit where you will grow your knowledge in the care of patients with lumbar drains, stable ventilators, tracheostomies, complex wounds and post- operative care.
Responsibilities
- Clin I, Clin II, Clin III: Organizes work and delegates and supervises others (RN's, LPN's, Care Partners, Unit Secretaries, etc.) in carrying out assignments.
- Our unit collaborates with other services to provide the safest, patient centered care.
Requirements
- Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program recognized and/or approved by the corresponding state's Board of Nursing.
