About the role
- This role serves as the critical bridge between product definition and manufacturing, ensuring seamless collaboration and integration between CAD systems and the Windchill environment.
- This position requires domestic travel (10% or more as needed ).
Responsibilities
- The PLM Architect will work closely with the Hardware Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to plan, design, and implement Windchill PLM solutions that enable highly efficient, end-to-end product development processes.
- You will drive business requirements, system configuration, proof-of-concept prototypes, and acceptance criteria specifically centered around CAD data management and Windchill best practices.
- Lead continuous process improvements for CAD design capture, CAD-driven engineering BOM (eBOM) structures, configuration management, and SKU definition to guarantee process consistency and quality across Peloton's hardware portfolio.
- Interface with internal teams and external contract manufacturing partners to efficiently manage BOMs, engineering deliverables, and product configurations through new product introduction (NPI).
- Actively define configuration management processes that drive change control across all product lines, while acting as the primary integration liaison with contract manufacturing teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of BOM structures, working with joint design partners and best practices in a hands-on, dynamic environment consumer manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong understanding of CAD/CAM applications, with expert-level knowledge of SolidWorks and how to structure CAD models/assemblies for successful Windchill deployment.
- Experience with enterprise platforms like SAP, Netsuite, ERP/MRP/MES/QMS, and how they interact downstream from Windchill.
- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing, project management, and change management

Compensation
- $156,150 - $191,800 USD
