Responsibilities
- Promote and maintain IKO safety goals and ensure a safe work environment for all employees.
- Leads safety, housekeeping efforts, and corrective actions within assigned projects and areas.
- Exemplifies safety in all actions and leads by example.
- Manages departmental performance measures, including visual controls, and provides regular progress reports to management team.
- Manages department priorities.
- Manages exceptions and special causes.
- Leads the primary employee training effort through proper planning, scheduling, and coordination.
Requirements
- Completes all other required reports in a timely manner.
- Ensures training of new and cross-training employees as well as required up-date training.
- Other duties as required.
- High school diploma required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
