Responsibilities

  • Lead a crew of 2-4 crew members, communicating and enforcing all safety regulations.
  • Perform mowing, weed-trimming, debris removal, ground maintenance and cleanup, light construction, and maintenance repairs for client.
  • Operate landscaping and light construction equipment and maintain the equipment trailer.
  • Prepare reports and document work in the field using Apex proprietary systems.

  • We're hiring a Landscape Foreman (Stormwater) to support the maintenance of stormwater infrastructure on commercial.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally required.
  • Due to DOT interstate transportation requirements, employees must meet the minimum requirement of 21 years of age.
  • Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and a reliable method of transportation required.
  • Required, typically 10-15 days per month (lodging and $55 per diem on travel days)
  • Whether you have experience in construction, manual labor, or lawn maintenance as a Crew Leader - or simply enjoy working outdoors - we'd love to hear from you!
  • Regional Travel: Required, typically 10-15 days per month (lodging and $55 per diem on travel days)

Nice to have

  • 2-4+ years of experience with manual labor, outdoor experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of landscaping equipment and materials preferred.

Compensation

  • $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
