About the role
- The Precast Production / Fabricator assists in the safe and efficient production of precast and prestressed concrete products used in commercial, residential, and industrial construction.
- This position involves hands-on fabrication tasks including preparing forms, placing reinforcing steel, pouring and finishing concrete, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Team members will work closely with supervisors and fellow production staff to meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards for safety, quality, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Follow all production instructions provided by the Production Supervisor or Lead Hand.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Participate in cross-training to support multiple production processes within the plant.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years of experience in Precast Concrete, Manufacturing, Construction, or other related industry.
- Ability to work safely at heights using appropriate fall protection equipment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Basic ability to use measuring tools, hand tools, and power tools.
- Previous experience working in a precast concrete production facility or similar construction/manufacturing environment.
- Experience reading and interpreting shop drawings or basic blueprints.
- Place reinforcing steel, embeds, and connection hardware as required.
- Perform patching, grinding, and finishing work as required.
- Perform other related duties as required.
