About the role
- The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
- The Scheduler supports project planning, progress measurement, forecasting, and schedule risk analysis to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent scheduling software.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify schedule risks, delays, and recovery opportunities.
- Support planning workshops, look-ahead schedules, and turnaround/shutdown planning activities.
- Support earned value management (EVM) and integrated cost/schedule reporting when applicable.
- Participate in risk assessments and scenario analysis to support project decision-making.
Requirements
- Familiarity with AACE, PMI, and EPC project execution methodologies.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

- Prepare baseline schedules aligned with project scope, execution strategy, and milestones.
- Monitor project progress and update schedules based on field data and contractor inputs.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations teams.
- Prepare schedule performance reports, KPIs, and executive-level presentations.
- Analyze schedule variances and provide mitigation and recovery recommendations.
- Ensure schedules comply with company procedures and AACE recommended practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field preferred.
- 5+ years of project scheduling experience in industrial, mining, energy, oil & gas, or infrastructure projects.
