Requirements

- For the TR-6/GS-5, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-4 grade level in the Federal service.
- Experience that provided knowledge of a body of basic laws and regulations, law enforcement operations, practices, and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property.
- OR A 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree in Police Science or a comparable degree program related to the work of the position.
- For the TR-7/GS-6, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the TR-6/GS-5 grade level in the Federal service.
- Experience that provided application of Federal, State or Local Laws, law enforcement operations, practices and techniques and involved responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property.
- For the TR-8/GS-7, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the TR-7/GS-6 grade level in the Federal service.
- For the TR-7 you must have been at the TR-6/GS-5 level for 52 weeks.
- For the TR-8 you must have been at the TR-7/GS-6 level for 52 weeks.
- All employees must wear face masks while on MINT property when required by CDC and Federal guidelines.
