About the role
- The terminal operator is responsible for a wide variety of responsibilities related to the operations of the pipeline.
- This position will work rotating 12-hour shifts.
- Duties are typically repetitive or routine in nature and work is closely supervised.
Responsibilities
- Follows instructions and utilizes standard practices and procedures to develop resolutions to problems of limited scope.
Requirements
- H.S. Diploma required
- Performs valve lineups, switch and tank changes as required to move petroleum products in and out of storage tanks.
- Inputs product information into terminal automation programs, including ATLAS, TopTech and other systems applications as required
- Performs tank inspections, make analyses of tank contents and prepare records as required, make routine daily inspection of facilities
- Ability to: communicate effectively orally and in writing in English
- Ability to: work in stressful and changing environmental conditions (conditions as noted above)
- Ability to: work under time pressure, tight deadlines, and interruptions
- Ability to: use a personal computer with the Windows® operating system to complete timesheets, send and receive e-mail, and access information posted on the Company's intranet
- Ability to: operate a multi-line phone system.
- Ability to: follow instructions or standard procedures

- 2 years related work experience in related field preferred
