About the role
- Jain Global is an innovative multi-strategy investment firm founded in July 2024 by Bobby Jain with over 400 employees operating from offices in New York, Houston, London, Singapore, and Hong Kong, we are looking to add to our growing teams.
- We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join our Compliance Technology team for the summer of 2027.
- Your project will be chosen from our 2027 roadmap based on team priorities and your skills.
Responsibilities
- Translate policies and compliance requirements into a technical design, working closely with senior developers and Compliance stakeholders.
- Build dashboards or web interfaces that give compliance users clear, actionable views of exceptions or metrics.
- Validate your system's output against manual results to confirm accuracy and support auditability.

Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, with an expected graduation in 2028 (rising senior).
- Experience with Git and a solid grasp of data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with React / TypeScript or another front-end framework, and REST APIs.
Nice to have
- Write clean, tested code in Python and SQL, plus front-end work as needed.
Skills
- Your project will be chosen from our 2027 roadmap based on team priorities and your skills. Projects will fall into one of two areas:
- Data ingestion pipelines that pull from internal databases, files, and APIs
Compensation
- The estimated base salary range for this position is $100,000-$230,000, dependent on experience and degree, which is specific to New York and may change in the future.
