Responsibilities

  • Understanding of RF and mixed-signal hardware (e.g. amplifiers, filters, ADCs/DACs, antennas) and its effects on test design.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited university or institution.
  • High proficiency with RF measurements (Linearity, NSD, EVM, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as digital oscilloscopes, multimeters, electronic loads, source measurement units, RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and vector signal analyzers.
  • Familiarity or hands-on experience with phased array over the air range testing, including phase/amplitude calibration, EIRP, G/T, axial ratio, scan loss and pattern cuts.

  • The ideal candidate possesses a strong combination of hardware and software knowledge with proficiencies in RF measurements, test equipment (VSAs, VSGs, VNAs, etc.), test architectures, and automation.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to address company-wide hardware test needs.
  • Experience with phased array testing is preferred.
  • Additional responsibilities include lab and equipment management and guiding key equipment purchase decisions.
  • Test engineers are core members of the Cesium technical team.
  • As such, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

Compensation

  • $158k-$189k
