About the role

  • The SHE Technician is responsible for ensuring a safe working environment within the
  • warehouse by implementing and monitoring safety protocols, conducting regular
  • inspections, and providing training to staff.

Responsibilities

  • Emergency Preparedness: Assist in developing and maintaining emergency response plans and conducts regular drills to ensure readiness.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance audits.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend and implement improvements to safety policies and procedures to enhance workplace safety.
  • Perform safety checks on equipment and machinery to ensure they are in safe working condition.
  • Collaborate with management to address safety-related issues and implement solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and compliance audits.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to safety policies and procedures to enhance workplace safety.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a safety role, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
  • May be required to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Working Conditions:
  • Primarily works in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Work Hours (Good Faith Estimate):
  • This full-time position is expected to work approximately 30-40 hours per week. This is a good faith estimate, and actual hours may vary based on business needs.

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • additional safety certifications are a plus.

Compensation

  • The compensation target for this role is: $23.00 - $27.00
