About the role
- Someone who can relate to the technical & executive audiences & can zoom in and out of detail as needed to communicate effectively.
- Translate market needs into product capabilities and directions & present to key team members including the executive team.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed understanding of customer use cases and deployment options.
- Manage the product lifecycle from product definition to product release.
- Partner with marketing to provide positioning and messaging as well as contribute to GTM enablement. Provide pre-sales and post-sales support to Rancher sales teams.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Solutions, Support, Sales and Partner teams on an ongoing basis.

Requirements
- You may be a good fit for the team if you have:
- Extensive product management experience with infrastructure, DevOps & workload products
- Knowledge of technologies such as DevOps, GitOps, Cluster API, Provisioning
- Experience with open-source software development and culture
- The candidate is required to complete the background check(s) once an offer has been accepted.

- About Rancher Prime (Cloud native)
- Rancher is the industry's most widely adopted full stack Kubernetes management platform.
- Engage with Rancher and cloud native tooling users in online forums, Slack, meetups and conferences.
- Reporting into the Head of Cloud native Product Management, in this role you will:
- Technical understanding of enterprise DevOps environments, deployments and use cases.
- Strong communications, presentation and interpersonal skills, both in physical and virtual settings across oceans and cultures
