- The location of this job is Herndon, VA or McLean, VA.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver onboarding and upskilling programs for data scientists.
- Design and teach/facilitate in-person trainings to include full day classroom trainings and 1-2-hour deskside trainings
- Document tools, packages, and methodologies with Sphinx.
- Partner with stakeholders to translate mission needs into training, tooling improvements, and backlog priorities.
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of data science experience
- Ability to reverse engineer AI/ML models
- Advanced Python proficiency
- Expertise writing complex, performant SQL across multiple data sources
- Expertise with Git-based workflows (branches, PRs, code reviews)
- Proficiency with Linux fundamentals (shell, filesystem, SSH), Conda environment management
- Demonstrated ability to debug code and data issues
- Proven experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and incorporating feedback into iterative improvements
- US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required.
- Experience with client's Data Science environment
Compensation
- $49,996.80 - $290,004.00
- Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening.
- Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
