About the role
- Our clusters span multiple datacenters and deployment stages (development, QA, staging, and production), with production systems operating in FIPS and PCI-validated environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking, routing, VLAN, VIP, and firewall issues.
- Integrate Kubernetes clusters with the observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager, Loki).
Responsibilities
- VirtuCrypt is seeking a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design, operate, and scale our global Kubernetes infrastructure.
- Manage and automate RKE2-based Kubernetes clusters with Rancher.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Ansible.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support application deployments and platform improvements.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
- Nice-to-Have Skills Experience with GitOps tooling (e.g., Argo CD, Flux).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Go).
