About the role

- As an Admissions Counselor at Drew University, you won't just guide prospective students through the college search process - you will help them discover possibility, purpose and belonging.
- This position is responsible for maintaining ongoing communication with prospective students and their families, school counselors, faculty and alumni through the recruitment process.
Responsibilities
- Represent Drew University at recruitment activities in a designated geographic territory. Initiate and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, families, and college counselors throughout the enrollment process.
- Analyze data to assist in developing a strategic recruitment plan for designated territory.
- Work with data from various outside vendors and products to enable the best strategies used to perform and execute marketing, communication and recruitment travel efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Senior Associate Director of Admissions or her designate.
- Initiate, maintain, and record contact with prospective students throughout the enrollment process.
- Initiate and maintain strong relationships with prospective students, families, and college counselors throughout the enrollment process.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree required.
- No prior Admissions experience required
- 1-2 years of experience in College Admissions is preferred.
- Extensive travel is required.
- A valid Driver's license is required.
