The Apprentice Pipefitter assists in the fabrication, installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems for commercial mechanical construction projects.
Working under the supervision of experienced pipefitters and foremen, this role provides hands-on training in pipefitting practices, blueprint reading, system layout, fabrication, installation, and safety procedures.

Install hangers, supports, valves, and related piping components according to project requirements.
Perform leak testing and inspections to ensure quality and system integrity.
Support pipefitters with layout and coordination of pipe installations.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Ability to use measuring devices and common hand and power tools safely.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull construction materials and equipment.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and from ladders, scaffolds, and manlifts at various heights.

Minimum 2-3 years of construction, mechanical, industrial, or pipefitting-related experience preferred.
Basic knowledge of pipefitting, plumbing, HVAC, or mechanical construction is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications is a plus.
OSHA 10 certification preferred but not required.
