About the role
- The role is central to gaining internal alignment and shaping external perception of Zenas' transparency, credibility, and long term value creation.
Responsibilities
- Develop high quality investor-facing materials including earnings documents, presentations, press releases, fact sheets, and Q&A
- Build and maintain strong relationships with covering analysts, ensuring their research and perspectives remain aligned with company messaging and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate cross functionally to craft compelling written materials that support company positioning and effectively communicate program updates during conference calls, investor meetings, and analyst events.
- Partner closely with Finance, Legal, Corporate Communications and external advisors to ensure accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance across all investor communications.
- Synthesize investor feedback, analyst commentary, and broader market sentiment to deliver actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Maintain detailed records of investor interactions, feedback, and follow ups to inform leadership and refine the overall IR strategy.
- Develop high quality investor-facing materials including earnings documents, presentations, press releases, fact sheets, and Q&A; translating complex scientific and clinical concepts into clear, accessible content.
- Obexelimab, Zenas' lead product candidate, is a bifunctional monoclonal antibody designed to bind both CD19 and FcγRIIb, which are broadly present across B cell lineage, to inhibit the activity of cells that are implicated in many autoimmune diseases without depleting them.
Requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific, clinical and financial concepts into clear, compelling investor messaging.
- Proven ability to work closely with senior executives, including supporting leadership at investor conferences (virtual and in person) and leading preparation for investor events.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- 5+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, or related roles within biotechnology or the life sciences
- Demonstrated experience preparing and reviewing executive- and external-facing materials.
- Strong ability to set and manage priorities, deadlines, resources, and cross-functional project initiatives.
- Medical or scientific communications/writing experience is an advantage.

- The position is eligible for a competitive compensation and benefits package.
- Zenas is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary pay range for this role is $188,000 to $235,000. Actual compensation packages will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to depth of experience, education, skillset, overall performance and/or location.
