About the role

The Building Operator, Facilities is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Canada Goose facility.

Monitor and maintain building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and lighting
Perform minor repairs on windows, doors, switches, desks, tables, plugs, equipment, appliance, sinks, toilets, blinds, etc.
Perform regular preventive maintenance. Help to maximize predictive / preventative maintenance activities that will decrease the need for emergency and corrective maintenance
Monitor and maintain adequate cleaning supplies and equipment for the facilities department
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
Maintain facility inventory
File service documents.

A minimum of 5 years, Building Maintenance experience with increasing responsibility in a Medium to Large facilities preferred;
Able to think analytically to solve problems;
Positive attitude and self-motivated;
Proven leadership skills with the innate ability to take initiative;
Time management skills
able to multi-task in a changing environment;
Able to work well with a team as well as independently;
Excellent adaptably to working with executives, office staff, warehouse/manufacturing staff and contractors;
