About the role
- Salary: $6,251.00 - $7,500.00 per month commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
- Develops project-based implementation plans in close coordination with compliance and IT offices.
- Identifies potential areas of compliance vulnerability and develops a plan of action to bring any non-compliance areas into compliance.
- Reporting to senior system research security leadership, the Assistant Director serves as a subject-matter expert coordinating closely with relevant IT departments, advancing a risk-based, mission-aligned approach that supports collaborative research and compliance with federal requirements across all member institutions.
Requirements

- Must be able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective problem solver.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in a complex, system-level organization.
- In-depth knowledge of federal research security requirements.
- Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively with others.
