Responsibilities

  • Autonomy: High emotional intelligence and the ability to interface directly with principals, CFOs, and outside advisors without constant partner supervision.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment;
  • Perform all other duties, tasks or projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • A proven ability to go beyond the "legal task" to understand the underlying business mechanics of a deal.
  • Successfully meet deadlines, expectations, and perform work duties as required;
  • Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
  • Minimum Years of Experience

Nice to have

  • J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
  • 6+ years of high-level corporate law experience, ideally within a Vault 50 firm or a sophisticated boutique focusing on PE/M&A.

Skills

  • Complex Deal Structuring & Execution
  • Overseeing the deal process with PE, family offices and sovereign funds across LP investments.
  • Overseeing specialist counsel focused on tax structures and financing agreements related to various acquisitions.
  • Provide proactive risk management and advisory on corporate governance for multi-jurisdictional entities.
  • The "Deep Dive"

Compensation

  • The firm's expected hiring range for this position is $250,000 - $400,000 per year depending on the candidate's geographic market location.
  • The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate's experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications.
  • Applicants who are not based in the jurisdiction in which this position is posted and who apply for this role are doing so voluntary and are not eligible for relocation assistance.
