About the role
- Our school serves families from a diverse range of Jewish backgrounds and religious practices.
- Reporting to the CFO/Business Manager & Director of HR, their role is responsible for the oversight of all financial, accounting, payroll activities.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the CFO/Business Manager & Director of HR with budget management, financial analysis, payroll, forecasting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and financial reporting.
Nice to have
- A combination of 3-5 years of managerial accounting and financial management experience, including experience in working with teams/departments, preferably in a highly engaged and fast-paced environment.
- Professional and strong work ethic
- 2 years experience of working with Quickbooks & Ceridian Dayforce
- Strong management and people skills
- Going beyond the basic requirements to "get the job done" in the most effective and efficient way possible
- Detail oriented and strong organization skills
- Must be a self-starter, multi-tasker, and excellent problem-solving abilities
- Team player attitude, understands the importance of maintaining a high communicative environment, offers an inclusive approach with constant care, constant training and communication while fostering a team environment
