Responsibilities
- Monitor unit functions during normal operations and performs periodic checks of all operating variables.
- Monitor, operate and perform routine inspections on station air systems, fuel systems, cooling water systems, oil systems, and safety systems.
- Actively participate as a work group team member and maintains a cooperative work relationship with fellow employees.
- Proven ability to drive and perform job safely.
Requirements
- Final candidates for this position may be required to undergo a security screening, including a criminal records check.
- Operate all Station prime movers and compressors, including start, stop, load adjustment, alarm monitoring and initial response as required.
Skills
- Possess the desire to learn and advance, as a Station Operator.
- Working knowledge of operations used in maintenance and repair of pipelines and operational equipment.
- Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training, formal education, and/or experience.
- Computer literate with working knowledge of Excel and Word.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Compensation
- Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
- Involved in planning work and contributing budget related information as required, consistent with the annual budgeting process.
