About the role
- Open to hiring remote across the US - we also have offices in NYC, San Francisco, and Seattle
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and technology-forward- Senior Accountant to join our Finance team.
Responsibilities
- Own cost of sales (COS) accounting, including reconciling COS accounts, analyzing margin drivers, and ensuring accurate cost recognition
- Own accounts payable operations, including reviewing and reconciling invoices and cash management
- Identify and implement process improvements across accounting workflows - including leveraging AI and automation to streamline the close, strengthen controls, and drive consistency as a lean team scales
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage competing deadlines without sacrificing accuracy
Requirements
- 4+ years of accounting experience with strong technical fundamentals
- Experience with AI and automation tools to enable scalable accounting operations and processes
Nice to have
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- experience with Netsuite a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- High proficiency in Excel
