So, what will the Senior Accountant at Terrestris do?
This position will serve as a key resource for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Treasury functions while collaborating with external CPA firms and internal stakeholders.

Terrestris Global Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Senior Accountant to support our corporate accounting operations in Woodbridge, Virginia.

Manage month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
Maintain the contract backlog schedule and support financial forecasting efforts.
Support accounting activities related to federal contracts, indirect cost allocations, and contract billing.
Coordinate and maintain state business registrations and compliance requirements.
Serve as backup support for AP, AR, and Payroll processing as needed.

Authorization to permanently work in the United States without sponsorship Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
3+ years of experience supporting federal government contractors.
Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Experience with DCAA-compliant accounting environments.
Knowledge of FAR, CAS, and government contract accounting principles.
Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
Experience with Paylocity payroll processing and payroll tax reporting.
Proficiency with QuickBooks Enterprise or similar accounting systems.
Experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting system Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and financial reporting.

CPA or CPA candidate.
