About the role
- The Solar Maintenance Technician is a team member for the Array Optimization Team (AOT), overseeing onsite operations to ensure execution of assigned tasks.
- This role is responsible for safety, optimizing task efficiency, and maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and quality.
- This role will encompass performing the preventative and corrective maintenance on the solar modules, strings, trackers, and inverters.
Responsibilities
- Uphold high standards of work documentation and provide thorough summaries to maintain clear communication and project tracking.
- Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained, serviced, and replaced as necessary to support operational efficiency.
- As an independent service provider, we avoid conflicts of interest and maintain a complete focus on our clients' needs.
Requirements
- Ability to identify and mitigate hazards associated with solar array systems.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience troubleshooting various single axis tracking systems.
- Proficiently navigate Microsoft Office Suite with a high degree of professionalism.
- Ability to travel up to 50-70% to various solar sites.
Nice to have
- 1+ years of experience working in solar PV preferred
- Preferred experience with Utilize small Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS) to identify and address array-level issues effectively.
