Responsibilities
- Knowledge of heavy equipment utilized to perform functions in a safe and efficient manner.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Three (3) years of aggregate materials hauling experience required.
- Ability to pass drug and background screening.
- Required to keep accurate truck count of loads hauled and dumped and report loads to site engineer daily.
- Perform truck and equipment inspections and preventative maintenance as required to ensure safe and continual service of equipment.
- Eligible after 1 year of service, must be taken within the calendar year.
Nice to have
- Mining truck operator experience preferred.
- End-dump and articulating truck experience preferred.
- Valid Class B driver's license preferred.

Skills
- All around knowledge of materials, terms, and practices in construction field.
- Knowledge of safe and responsible operation of tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of basic vehicle and equipment inspection procedures, maintenance, and repairs.
- Skill in inspecting equipment for safety and maintenance purposes.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle and heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to prioritize as directed and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Strong self-motivation and work ethic; ability to work without direct supervision.
