Requirements

  • Are you motivated by creating reliable, high-quality software while growing your technical expertise alongside a talented team?

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience designing and delivering production applications
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including testing, code reviews, and monitoring
  • Willingness to learn about cutting-edge technologies while cultivating expertise in a business domain/problem space
  • Ability to communicate effectively

Nice to have

  • Experience with Java or Kotlin
  • Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure
  • Experience with Docker or containerization technologies
  • Understanding of accounting or investment management workflows
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
  • Experience working with data modeling or caching strategies
  • Interest in AI-assisted software development tools and practices
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, evolving environments

Compensation

  • The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.
  • In select locations (including the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
  • The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is: $168,000-$210,000.
  • Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.

  • In addition to the base salary, Ridgeline employees can participate in our Company Stock Plan subject to the applicable Stock Option Agreement.
