- You'll be hands-on with data mapping, transformation, validation, cutover, and post-migration verification to ensure the new system operates with reliable, trusted data.
Requirements
- You'll work closely with business stakeholders, gaiia's Migration Platform team, and clients to ensure migrations are accurate, timely, and meet required data quality standards.
- Documentation enables repeatability and smoother future migrations. 🎖️ Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience (2-5+ years) working in data migration, data implementation, ETL, or similar roles.
- Experience working with messy or poorly documented legacy systems.
- Strong understanding of data mapping and transformation logic
- ability to interpret legacy schemas.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments. ✅ Nice-to-have Strong proficiency in SQL
- Familiarity with data quality, validation, cleansing techniques.

- Independently explore unfamiliar systems to understand source data structure in relation to gaiia's data model and product.
