About the role

  • Assist with basic quality checks to ensure accuracy and standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Draft and update construction design drawings under direction of the Construction Design Team Lead.
  • Apply redlines and corrections from OSP field staff, Construction Design Supervisors and/or Construction Design Team Leads.
  • Support project documentation and utilize trackers as assigned.
  • Communicate with team members for clarifications on design updates.
  • Participate in training and develop knowledge of OSP design processes and tools.
  • The CAD Technician is an entry-level role responsible for supporting the design team in creating accurate and high-quality construction design documents.
  • Working under the guidance of a Construction Design Team Lead, the Technician assists with drafting, redline implementation, quality checks, and project documentation.

Requirements

  • Upload and maintain project files in all required platforms and systems.

Skills

  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with GIS tools preferred.
  • Ability to interpret constructive criticism and apply red line corrections accurately.
