About the role
- This role provides leadership to the Monitoring, Analysis, Response, and Communication (MARC) team, with accountability for tactical processes and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities
- Lead and direct the MARC team, ensuring alignment with engineering and operational goals
- Maintain accountability for tactical processes, day-to-day operations, and escalation management across the portfolio
- Oversee incident management operations to protect, maintain, and enhance data center performance and value
- Provide both reactive and proactive support to operational facility teams across data center and critical infrastructure environments
- Manage external contractors and coordinate across multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Support the development and delivery of training programs to enhance team technical capabilities
- Build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization
- Effectively manage multiple priorities and deliverables in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years managing teams and delivering against program requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
- 5+ years of experience in data center operations or critical infrastructure environments
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong understanding of critical facility systems, operations, and incident response workflows
- Experience supporting operational escalation processes and driving resolution in high-impact environments
- Some travel required
Nice to have
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred
Skills
- Serve as an escalation point and participate in on-call rotations for critical incidents
- Assist in incident investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies to identify root causes
- Demonstrate strong leadership, responsiveness, and creativity in resolving complex operational and technical challenges
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, customer experience, and cost efficiency; execute approved improvement initiatives
- Assist in the rollout and adoption of standardized tools, processes, and systems
- Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership
