Responsibilities

  • With supervision, maintains high quality standards and meets production requirements in the set-up and manufacture of fasteners on one or more varieties of roll threading equipment.
  • to lead person or supervisor.
  • Maintains production efficiencies of 40%-60% of machine group

Requirements

  • Ability to use all gages and gaging techniques as required
  • Maintains required quality levels and does not exceed scrap
  • Ability to set-up and operate one or more varieties of roll threaders under close supervision to meet print requirements.

Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Demonstrated base mechanical skills, aptitude.
  • Basic math skills, add, subtract, multiply and divide, for blueprint reading, gaging, etc.
  • Ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to communicate in English in both written and verbal formats.
  • Ability to identify basic equipment problems.
  • Ability to visualize and understand the manufacturing process.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to legibly complete signoffs and record data for IATF16949 requirements.
  • Ability to learn and comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety guidelines and practices.
  • Ability to gain knowledge in IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.
  • Previous manufacturing experience.
