Responsibilities
- R esponsible for the investigation of Federal and State statutes, and Jackson County and various municipal ordinances; performs a full range of professional, criminal, and internal investigations, regarding alleged violations of department policy involving staff, inmates, volunteers, etc
Requirements
- Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university.
- Two years of experience in corrections or law enforcement, with an emphasis on conducting extensive investigations.
- Must have and maintain valid Missouri or Kansas Driver's License.
Nice to have
- National Incident Management System (NIMS) Certification preferred
Compensation
- Salary: $22.96/hour
