Responsibilities

  • R esponsible for the investigation of Federal and State statutes, and Jackson County and various municipal ordinances; performs a full range of professional, criminal, and internal investigations, regarding alleged violations of department policy involving staff, inmates, volunteers, etc

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of experience in corrections or law enforcement, with an emphasis on conducting extensive investigations.
  • Must have and maintain valid Missouri or Kansas Driver's License.

Nice to have

  • National Incident Management System (NIMS) Certification preferred

Compensation

  • Salary: $22.96/hour
