About the role

  • Spire Solutions is hiring an Equipment Procurement Manager to work onsite at our warehouse in Port Washington, WI!
  • The Equipment Procurement Manager is responsible for profitably managing the day-to-day equipment operations.
  • This role will work onsite at our warehouse in Port Washington, WI.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain an organized and well-maintained warehouse and equipment operation
  • Collaborate with applicable warehouse and project teams prior to purchasing, leasing or renting equipment
  • Support safety programs, including: assisting with implementation, ensuring all equipment and tools are in safe working condition, establishing positive safety behavior and adhering to safety protocols
  • Maintain current asset inventory to resolve inventory irregularities, usage inaccuracies and equipment uses
  • Manage staff, to include: mentoring, creating development goals, delegating tasks/responsibilities, recommending disciplinary action and recruiting of qualified talent
  • This role will collaborate closely with application project teams and leadership to drive performance across all projects.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in basic computer software programs such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to learn job-specific software (JDE, Procore, Bluebeam, warehouse software, etc.)
  • The Company is a drug and alcohol-free workplace and background checks are required if applicable.

Nice to have

  • 7+ years of construction-related experience is preferred, including management of quality assurance processes and leading change within a warehouse
  • An industry related bachelor's degree is preferred
  • Forklift Certification and OSHA 30 or the willingness to obtain upon hire
