Requirements
- Experience with electronic assembly required
- Demonstrates strong mechanical aptitude along with the ability to read prints and measure parts while maintaining a customer-focused mentality required
- Ability to work extended hours and occasional weekend shifts as needed required
- take action to achieve results beyond what is required
- High School Degree/GED required
- 5+ years of experience in assembly/leadership desired
- Depending on the assigned department, must be able to demonstrate the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and complete an audiogram test
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day.
Nice to have
- Lean 101 training preferred
- Experience in a Lean environment preferred
Skills
- Provide a thorough technical understanding of production and assembly practices.
- Acts as liaison, representing the team in general; point of contact for general assembly and quality control questions
- Trains new employees and instructs employees on the proper use of equipment and tools
- Display strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate with Managers, Planning and Customer Service.
- Provide input to improve assembly processes with a focus on safety, quality, on-time delivery and cost.
