About the role

  • Substitute teachers provide coverage for regular classroom teachers in the infant/toddler and preschool classrooms when they are absent.

Responsibilities

  • The staff at the Child Development Centers are responsible for building meaningful relationships with children, families, and their coworkers. We believe transparency, professionalism, and empathy are critical in sustaining these bonds.
  • Build a collaborative, working relationship with administration and all of the Classroom Managers, Primary Teachers, and Classroom Teachers.
  • The staff at the Child Development Centers are responsible for building meaningful relationships with children, families, and their coworkers.
  • Kneel down to maintain eye contact at child's level.

Requirements

  • Experience You Bring
  • If you are working in a school age classroom, you must have three (3) school age units.
  • Working knowledge of personal computers with experience in the use of such programs as Word, Excel, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook.
  • The work hours of the substitute position fluctuate significantly, and qualified candidates must have the flexibility to be scheduled on an as-needed basis.
