- Roles & Responsibilities: Greet and assist families, visitors, and children with a friendly and professional demeanor.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage the front desk area to ensure a welcoming environment.
- Manage office correspondence, including emails, faxes, and mail.
- Assist in preparing materials and documents for staff meetings, appointments, and services.
- Enter and maintain data in various databases and spreadsheets.
- Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the agencies objectives.
- Organize and maintain filing systems for children's records and other documentation in compliance with Provincial requirements, privacy and confidentiality.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Willingness and ability to work after hours and/or weekends when required.
Nice to have
- High school diploma is required.
- Business administration certificate preferred.
- Minimum 1-year of experience in an administrative role.
- Experience working knowledge of First Nations culture, traditions and values is a definite asset.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic, with a strong understanding of the needs and sensitivities of children and families.
- Ability to speak Cree or Dene is an asset.
