About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and sourcing support to design engineers.
  • Performs component research by collaborating with designers, manufacturers, and supply chain to find components that meet performance, pricing, availability, and volume production needs..
  • Monitor, identify and resolve lifecycle issues. Can work with manufacturers, supply chain, and design engineers to identify substitutes, and make recommendations for NPI and Sustaining products.
  • Collaborate periodically with our component suppliers to gain visibility into their technology roadmaps.
  • Plastic part design for both cosmetic and non-cosmetic uses.

Nice to have

  • Experience with liquid cooling systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Agile or Propel systems is a plus.
  • Experience using ProEngineer (PTC Creo) is a plus.
  • Experience with Mechanica (PTC Creo Simulate) a plus.
  • Experience with thermal simulation and air flow testing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with PDMLink (PTC Windchill) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with tests (shock, vibe, EMC, etc.) is a plus.

Compensation

  • The new hire base pay for this role has a pay range of $120,000 to $180,000.
  • The pay range provided reflects base pay only and in addition certain roles may also be eligible for discretionary Arista bonuses and equity.
