About the role
- The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) assists the Certified School Nurse (CSN) and the School Nurse in providing care to students and staff members of schools.
- He/She assists with the care of students who require medical attention when they are injured or suffer from acute illness.
- Their tasks include assisting in treating of patients, referring them to other care providers, and interacting with parents of patients when needed or when appropriate.
