- Position Overview Maintenance Technician II troubleshoots electrical and mechanical systems within the plant.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair or replace equipment, while performing basic mechanical and electrical repair work
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair, 120V - 480V 1 phase/3 phase electrical equipment
- Perform machinery and basic equipment examinations to troubleshoot defects and visual wear
- Performs electrical testing
- Perform machine shop functions (sheet metal, steel layout and welding)
- Support an environment of continuous improvement by making/implementing suggestions
- Performs electrical testing; motor testing; fuse/continuity checks; voltage/resistances/current relationships
- Perform general housekeeping
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair, 120V
Requirements
- 2 years' experience in an industrial environment working within a maintenance (electrical) department as a Maintenance Electrician/ Technician
- Experience working with troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs.
- Notice and report any abnormal conditions/ failures and take required corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of such conditions
