  • Position Overview Maintenance Technician II troubleshoots electrical and mechanical systems within the plant.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, repair or replace equipment, while performing basic mechanical and electrical repair work
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair, 120V - 480V 1 phase/3 phase electrical equipment
  • Perform machinery and basic equipment examinations to troubleshoot defects and visual wear
  • Performs electrical testing
  • Perform machine shop functions (sheet metal, steel layout and welding)
  • Support an environment of continuous improvement by making/implementing suggestions
  • Performs electrical testing; motor testing; fuse/continuity checks; voltage/resistances/current relationships
  • Perform general housekeeping
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair, 120V

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience in an industrial environment working within a maintenance (electrical) department as a Maintenance Electrician/ Technician
  • Experience working with troubleshooting Allen Bradley PLCs.
  • Notice and report any abnormal conditions/ failures and take required corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence of such conditions
