About the role

  • You will be a member of our multi-disciplinary team and will work under the direction of a licensed engineer.

Responsibilities

  • Perform designs of ductwork, piping, equipment selection for HVAC systems for building design, independently for smaller/less technical projects
  • Calculate heating and cooling loads, layout and design ductwork and piping using energy modeling software.
  • Perform designs of ductwork, piping, equipment selection for HVAC systems for building design, independently for smaller/less technical projects; under the supervision of a professional engineer for complex projects.

Requirements

  • Prepare Revit/BIM modeling of construction drawings of HVAC systems from schematic design to construction administration phases including layout, sketches and detail drawings as required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of related experience required.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering required.
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited program preferred.
  • EIT/FE in the United States preferred.
  • LEED accreditation preferred.
  • Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs (i.e. Revit, Trane Trace or Trane 3D Plus) required.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

  • The salary range for this position to be filled in the Boston, MA office is $76,570 to $95,665 annually.
