About the role
- This role is ideal for an experienced driller who wants to take on more responsibility while staying close to field operations.
- This is a hands-on leadership role-part coach, part operational troubleshooter.
- Our focus is on large, enterprise deployments with major homebuilders, helping bring geothermal to more homes, faster.
Responsibilities
- Love being in the field and building up others
- Are a strong communicator who can lead crews with empathy and clarity
- Lead by example in safety, quality, and operational excellence
- Monitor job site performance and productivity; drive continuous improvement
- Coordinate with field ops, site supervisors, and logistics to support project timelines
- Support implementation of new technology, equipment, and drilling methods
- Assist in onboarding and developing drillers across your region
Requirements
- Proficiency with mud/air rotary, dual rotary, sonic, or casing advancement techniques
Nice to have
- 8+ years of geothermal and/or water well (preferred), oil & gas, or other industry drilling experience
- Valid driver's license with clean record
