About the role
- Steel Point is seeking to hire a Software Engineer to join the team of one of our intel clients.
- This individual may work individually or as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
- Design and code new software or modifies existing software to add new features
- Develop simple data queries for existing or proposed databases or data repositories
- Develop or implement algorithms to meet or exceed system performance and functional standards
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
- Develop software solutions by analyzing system performance standards, conferring with users or system engineers
- Serve as team lead at the level appropriate to the software development process being used on any particular project
- Leveraging these resources, we strive daily to lead the industry in program management and service delivery.
- The Software Engineer reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
- The Software Engineer also resolves software problem reports, utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
Requirements
- Top Secret w/ Full Scope Poly clearance required
- 20+ years of experience in software engineering programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity
Compensation
- $150,000 - $155,000 USD
