About the role
- As a Concrete Finisher at Whitaker Construction, you will play a vital role in our construction projects by ensuring that concrete surfaces are expertly finished to meet our high-quality standards.
- Your primary responsibilities will include setting forms, spreading and smoothing concrete, monitoring curing processes, and directing casting activities.
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of concrete finishing experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety.
Requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
Nice to have
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Skills
- Direct the casting of the concrete and supervise laborers who use shovels or specialty tools.
- Mold expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers, or straightedge.
