About the role

They play a central role during "war room" situations, leading real-time monitoring and analysis when speed, judgment, and precision matter most.
In addition, the Director is responsible for stewarding and evolving Narrative's competitive intelligence technology stack-maximizing the value of existing tools while identifying opportunities to improve insight quality, speed, and operational efficiency.
This role works cross-functionally with Creative, Insights, and Business Development teams to ensure monitoring outputs meaningfully inform storytelling, strategy, and growth.

Rapid‑Response & War Room Leadership Own the activation, leadership, and output quality of rapid‑response and "war room" monitoring during high-stakes or fast-moving situations, delivering timely, insight-driven analysis for clients.

The ideal candidate is a senior competitive intelligence professional with 4+ years of experience leading media and landscape monitoring in complex, fast-moving environments.
They bring strong analytical judgment, the ability to separate signal from noise, and the ability to translate real-time developments into clear, actionable insights for clients and internal teams.
They have expert proficiency with media monitoring and intelligence platforms (e.g., LexisNexis, Meltwater, BGOV) and an interest in advancing tools, workflows, and AI-enabled approaches.
