About the role
- As an Integration Engineer at Vanderlande, you will play a crucial role in integrating various components and subsystems into comprehensive solutions for complex airport and parcel systems.
- You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing tests to ensure system functionality and reliability.
- Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will contribute to the successful delivery of cutting-edge material handling solutions that meet our customers' operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Test Design and Planning
- Develop test designs and plans based on system specifications, risk analysis, and customer requirements
- Implement test cases, scripts, and stubs for System Factory and Site Testing
- Support root cause analysis and resolution of integration and system performance issues
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure seamless integration of all system elements
- Perform site commissioning of material handling systems, including baggage handling, parcel, and related solutions
- Validate system functionality and requirements through structured testing and verification activities
- Support operational readiness and transition-to-operations activities during system handover
- Support Integration Managers and Project Leaders in resolving technical and system-related issues
- Identify, assess, and support mitigation of technical and integration risks
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in system integration, testing, commissioning, or system engineering activities
- Experience with IT and Industrial Automation systems
- Support planning and coordination of software and system releases required for testing and deployment
Nice to have
- Knowledge of automated test tools (execution, result registration, test management)
- Experience in the airport, material handling, or logistics industry
- Familiarity with software release and configuration management processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a systems perspective
- Basic knowledge of Systems Engineering and/or Software Development
- Familiarity with testing methodologies and techniques
- Understanding of system integration and configuration management principles
- Excellent communication skills in English
Compensation
- This is a full-time position, eligible to receive a base salary and to participate in an annual performance bonus program.
