About the role

  • Summary: Account Executives are responsible for the sales and development of advertising campaigns for events, businesses, and organizations.
  • This role is responsible for new business acquisition, in addition to current client retention and upsells.
  • Every client is different, and we don't believe in a cookie-cutter approach to their advertising needs.

Responsibilities

  • Own the entire sales and retention cycle for each campaign, working in conjunction with the assigned digital strategist, client services, and the ad operations team
  • Meet with individual clients at appropriate frequencies (monthly, quarterly, etc.) to review campaign progress, budgets, and create new strategies
  • Use analytical skills to create data-driven summary reports on campaign performance
  • Negotiate deals, accurately forecast sales, and set personal goals to drive success

Requirements

  • Must be willing to submit and pass the necessary required checks
  • Must be available for shift work.

Nice to have

  • Digital sales acumen and media industry knowledge
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • A background in consultative sales, new business acquisition, diagnosing client needs, presentations, overcoming objections, closing, time management, client retention, and problem-solving
  • Track record of success in online media sales, with direct experience selling ad serving, rich media, email, online media, or technology
  • Applicable sales experience in SEM sales, with proficiency in the concepts and methodology of SEM campaign execution
  • programmatic RTB sales, with proficiency in the concepts and methodology of RTB/Programmatic campaign execution

Compensation

  • The hourly wage is $24.04 + cell phone stipend, mileage reimbursement, and commission (on-target earning potential is $100,000).
  • Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc.
  • In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
