About the role
- Assist with preparation of video cut-ups, scouting reports, charts, and playbook materials for coaches.
- Assist with opponent advance scouting to identify tendencies, pitch patterns, formations, and areas of weakness.
- Complete self-scouting and internal film review to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
Responsibilities
- Prepare data reports, graphs, charts, and statistical profiles to support coaching strategy and decision-making.
- Assist with practice planning and game-day operations, including charting, organization, communication, and logistics support.
- Support recruiting efforts through talent evaluation, recruiting research, and prospect tracking.
- Assist with other baseball operations and program support tasks as assigned by the coaching staff.
- The Developmental Baseball Coach program is designed to provide aspiring coaches with comprehensive, hands-on experience in a Division I baseball environment.
- Participants will support the Ole Miss Baseball coaching staff in all phases of the program, including game planning, practice preparation, data analysis, and recruiting, while engaging in a structured professional development curriculum.
