About the role
- Overview & Responsibilities Ebara Elliott Energy is seeking a highly skilled and results-oriented Shop Engineer - Turbomachinery to provide critical technical and quality assurance leadership for our repair operations.
- This role is essential for ensuring the successful completion of complex component repairs, including reverse engineering non-Elliott products, while maintaining rigorous quality standards, process documentation, and shop efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Engineering & Repair: Execute reverse engineering assignments and provide technical support for component repairs, rerates, and rework.
- Quality Management: Develop quality plans, manage the tool calibration system, and lead process audits.
- Continuous Improvement: Manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Quality Action Requests (QARs); identify opportunities for cost reduction and productivity gains.
- Leadership: Support the Repair Shop Manager with man-hour estimates, training programs, and subordinate career development.

Requirements
- Minimal; must be able to travel 15 - 20% as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD, FEA, and Microsoft Office Suite; strong knowledge of drawing symbols and mechanical systems.

- The expected compensation range for this position is between $105k - $150k / year base salary, depending on experience and qualifications.
