About the role
- In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, assisting with the preparation of financial reports, and other finance related administrative tasks.

Responsibilities
- Manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable function and supervise the Accounting Coordinator
- Maintain, monitor and reconcile GL accounts, including but not limited to cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable and accrued liabilities
- Identify problems and errors, investigate discrepancies and collaborate with the Controller
- Prepare and maintain government remittances/deposits, expenses, and payroll transactions
- Perform month-end and quarter-end closing process
- Work with accounting software and provide support to other departments
Requirements
- Experience in bookkeeping and record keeping in an ERP
- 5 years' experience in accounting-related functions
- Additional experience in one of the following areas is a major asset:
