Responsibilities
- Apply systems engineering design competency (expertise) comprised of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVACR and automation disciplines.
- Maintain facility plant operations, maintenance, reliability life cycles and technical standards development.
- Support troubleshooting and technical analysis on Utilities and HVAC equipment and processes including Automation, PI data analyses, system capacity analyses, MOC analyses, flow path analyses, etc.
- CAPEX planning, design review and execution oversight
- Develop of technical engineering standards and requirements.
- Proficient Utilities & HVACR systems engineering expertise (design-execution-operations).
- Building Automation System (BAS) design, integration and operations.
- The Utilities & HVAC Engineer II role supports Lonza operations by ensuring that plant systems, equipment and facilities are designed and operating to meet the requirements for biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
- Support facilities/maintenance operations, system design engineering oversight, building automation systems, CAPEX planning, development and execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field) with 2-5 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
